Basmati is the long-grain, aromatic rice traditionally grown in the foothills of the Himalayas across the Indo-Gangetic plain. Soilo Farm sources aged basmati batches selected for even grain length, low broken content and the characteristic cooked-rice aroma buyers around the world recognise. Batches are cleaned, sorted and graded to buyer specification, then packed for retail shelves as well as bulk food-service and distributor formats. Whether the destination is a supermarket private label, a diaspora grocer, a foodservice kitchen or an industrial buyer, the same batch discipline runs behind every consignment. Country of origin is India throughout, with the sourcing region named on the batch documentation issued with the shipment.

Soilo Farm sources through Indian farmer networks and cooperatives, favouring long-term supplier relationships in named growing regions. Where a batch supports it, sourcing region and lot identifier are captured in the batch record shared with the buyer.

No claim of organic, pesticide-free or chemical-free status is made on a batch that has not been specifically tested and documented as such. Buyer-specific sourcing preferences can be discussed on enquiry.
