The problem
Good soil cannot make up for bad water.
Irrigation water quality is rarely checked, and when it is, it is usually checked once. Salinity, pH and dissolved solids can differ between sources and rise as water levels fall.
Without regular readings, growers see the crop effect, such as leaf burn, stunting or nutrient lockout, without knowing the cause.
What Soilo Water does
Water makes water quality a one-minute check you can repeat at every source, tank and drain.
The best soil management can be undone by poor water. Salinity builds up in the root zone, pH that is too high or too low affects what a plant can take up, and water sources change from season to season and from well to well.
Soilo Water is a hand-held meter that you dip into irrigation water, a nutrient solution or a water source to read its pH, EC, TDS, salinity and temperature on the spot. A pH buffer solution is shown with the kit for calibration.
Readings on their own are not instructions. They tell you something worth knowing before you irrigate, fertigate or choose a source, and they give your agronomist something concrete to work with.
